Welcome to my Media Portfolio! I am so happy to share my creativity with you!
I am a Creative Media Production & Nonprofit Organization/Public Administration student at The University of Oklahoma with a minor in Digital Marketing.
Media Journey
Since I could get my hands on a camera, I took every chance to visually communicate my ideas.
I began my Photography business in my Sophomore year of high school. I had my first job as a summer camp photographer at New Life Ranch; capturing the sweet moments these children got to experience. After the experience I have gained throughout photography and videography, I see inspiration everywhere I go. Hoping to one day travel to different countries and use my talents for God's work, I hope that you will allow me the experience of putting your memories or promoting your business into the most creative and detailed oriented format that I can.
College
In college, I have had the best time learning more about what I love to do, and have found so much joy in working with others! I am currently employed at the OU Daily where I am hired by clients to make advertisements for various campus and local organizations. My production classes are keeping me on my toes! The importance of professionalism, timeliness, and quality content have been emphasized to me. In my experience with film festivals (winning them!), classes, producing podcasts, and running TarynLeighCreative, my ultimate goal is to accurately document the memories God has given us!
Highschool
I am educated in media marketing. I have been in broadcasting and media classes since 6th grade attending Union Public Schools, and currently at The University of Oklahoma. I served for two years as an Officer for the Uhype crew which provided an immense amount of real-world experience in media marketing for Union High School by running the school's social media and creating content.
The Media is a beautiful privilege that I want to use in the best way to spread positivity and light, and I would love for you to follow in my efforts to do so!
